Dr. Tanya is a native of the vibrant city of New Orleans, Louisiana, with roots that also extend to the charming town of Houma. Her journey has taken her across the United States and even beyond its borders, shaping her into the passionate individual she is today.

Academic Pursuits


During her undergraduate years, Dr. Tanya ventured to Indianapolis, Indiana, where she embarked on a quest for knowledge. There, she earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Spanish, adding an international flair to her academic pursuits. Her dedication to advancing healthcare didn't stop there; she also received a certificate from the IU School of Medicine in Histotechnology. This experience led her to work in Pathology labs, where she contributed to diagnosing and treating both major and minor diseases.

The Chiropractic Calling


In 2013, Dr. Tanya relocated to the bustling city of Houston, Texas, to follow a heartfelt calling: a career in Chiropractic care. Her inspiration stemmed from a personal experience—a life-altering car accident that left her grappling with severe back pain. Chiropractic care not only helped her recover physically but also ignited a newfound sense of purpose. In 2018, she proudly graduated from Texas Chiropractic College (TCC), equipped with the skills and knowledge to help others regain their health and vitality.

Dedication to Community


Dr. Tanya's commitment to community service has been a constant throughout her life. She's volunteered, mentored, and served in various capacities, from tutoring in mathematics to providing meals for the homeless. Her involvement extends to esteemed organizations like the Houston Heights Rotary and the Houston Livestock and Rodeo, where she's dedicated her time to making a difference.

Dr. Tanya's love for learning knows no bounds. She's an enthusiast of diverse cultures, exotic cuisines, the arts, and world exploration. Her travels have taken her to fascinating places like Spain, Mexico, Cape Town, Costa Rica, and Aruba, expanding her horizons and enriching her understanding of the world.

When she's not engaged in professional or community pursuits, Dr. Tanya indulges in activities that contribute to the well-being of mind, body, and spirit. Yoga, meditation, pilates, and reading are her go-to practices. She also appreciates the finer things in life, like savoring a glass of wine, sharing laughter with friends and family, and spending quality time with her beloved dog, Chuck.
